“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s but give to God what is God’s.” This is not a reason for paying taxes. It is a basic guideline for living. Our first concern should be to love one another. With that as a guide, our decisions become clearer. We may have a “right” to do certain things; but the greater law of love may lead us to a different choice. Consider some of the choices you have made. Were they guided by love or by your own interests?
May your kindness, O Lord, be upon us who have put our hope in you. – PSALM 33:22

MASS PROTOCOLS AS OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2020: Per Diocesan policy, in accord with current public health recommendations, the people (except liturgical ministers serving in the sanctuary) must wear cloth face masks upon entering the church until they depart. Masks will remain on the face throughout the whole Mass except when receiving communion. Saint Christopher’s will offer Mass for up to 28 persons at each Mass, with seating at six-foot distances required. Any Mass that you attend during the week will satisfy your Sunday obligation. As always, the greatest concern is for each person’s health and safety, thus it is up to each person to make the decision that is best for them and the community. Please consult our website or call the parish office with any questions. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
There are October-December 2020 editions of the Living Faith/La Fe Viva daily Catholic devotions booklets available in the gathering hall.
FINANCIAL REPORT FOR OCTOBER 10-11, 2020: Offertory $1,533 / Donations Mail $150 / Renovations & Improvements $312 / Holy Land Collection (20-2203) $50 / Intermountain Catholic Subscriptions $100 = $2,145.
THIS WEEKEND we celebrate World Mission Sunday. We celebrate this day by remembering our baptismal call – to bring the Gospel to all! The collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith supports the work and witness of the Mission Church, as it provides for priests, religious and lay leaders who offer the Lord’s mercy and concrete help to the most vulnerable communities in the Pope’s missions. Thank you for your generosity!
