Our next OPEN-DOOR SATURDAY is August 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM-Noon. If you have friends or relatives that are interested in the Catholic faith, or are thinking of returning to the Church, please tell them about us and have them stop by. We would love to meet with them! OPEN DOOR is scheduled every first and third Saturday of the month.

Diocesan Development Drive Our new goal for 2026 is $11,500. WE ARE OVER HALF-WAY THERE!! As of 6/30/26, thirteen households have pledged $7810 with $6150 paid in. It would be great to have a fuller participation than the 17 parishioners we had last year. Thank you in advance.
PRAY FOR HEALING: Abigail Mays, Maria Hildebrand, Bud Carpenter, Pam Peterson, Stacey Pennigroth, Eva Montelongo, Michael Zarnowski, the homebound, Our Wounded Veterans. Online Healing Retreat Do you recall that the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are Sacraments of Healing? ALL sin wounds us and inhibits our own experience of God’s love, but also the love we are able to share with others. Please consider signing up for this retreat. “When we talk about healing, we often think first about wounds, relationships, memories, suffering, and rightly so. But sometimes healing requires us to look at the things that we have allowed to slowly crowd our lives, our homes, and our calendars. Catholic Social Teaching: Pope Leo is encouraging us all to consider the Church’s systematic approach to living out our role as a Holy People in a world of increased technological complexity.
Please join us on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7PM as we venture into a more focused reading of Pope Leo’s encyclical Magnifica Hunanitas. We will discuss the Introduction and possibly Chapter 1 of the encyclical. “…It is the task of the People of God ‘to listen attentively, to discern and to interpret the various languages of our time’, so that revealed truth may be proclaimed in forms suited to historical circumstances. Social doctrine thus appears as a dynamic heritage, which grows over time without abandoning the essential core of the faith.” (From Chap.1 of Summary, USCCB)

St. Christopher Endowment: Did you know that St. Christopher’s Parish has an endowment with the Utah Catholic Foundation? It was started with a donation from the parish in 2020 with an initial corpus of $5000 and is intended for general parish use. The fund has now over $60,000 with interest and additional donations as of 7-30-26. The fund is set up as ‘Permanent Restricted’ which means the corpus stays in the fund, but the earnings are available to the parish annually as needed. If you would like to make a donation to our endowment for the long-term care of St. Christopher’s, please contact Fr. Rick for further details.

Gift Shop Please check out the exciting new items in our religious gift section as you are enjoying some post-Mass refreshments. It’s quite likely you might find something that a loved one doesn’t already have. It also could be a great way to evangelize. Most young people are interested in angels and saints, rosary beads and other devotionals. Anticipate an upcoming birthday. Take a risk and gently instruct a non-religious child, grandchild or great-grandchild. PRAY that rosary a couple times before gifting it to someone. Let yourself be seen sipping your favorite beverage out of your new “Pray, hope and don’t worry” porcelain mug. The prospects are truly exhilarating!
