The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15) is NOT a holy day of obligation in Utah this year as it falls on a Monday and priests cannot logistically make all the rounds.

MASS PROTOCOLS:   UPDATE:  As of February 15, 2022 Bishop Solis has lifted the mask mandate at Catholic Masses in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.  At St. Christopher’s we will continue to reserve a special section in the church for those wishing to wear a mask due to health concerns.

NOTE: If you have a sacramental emergency after parish office hours, please call 435-673-2604 for assistance.

Our next OPEN DOOR SATURDAY is August 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM-Noon.  If you have friends or relatives that are interested in the Catholic faith, or are thinking of returning to the Church, please tell them about us and have them stop by. We would love to meet with them!  OPEN DOOR is scheduled every first and third Saturday of the month.

FINANCIAL REPORT – August 7, 2022   Offertory: $1268; Retired Members of Religious Orders: $1000; R&I $80.  Thank you!!  You’re fabulous!!

Diocesan Development Drive:  We have collected and pledged $8572 so far toward our 2022 goal of $9500. (11 donors).  We received a nice burst of hope this last month!!  We should have more than 11 donors for this community.  Please remember, our tiny community simply doesn’t function without the many administrative and educational services provided by the Diocesan Pastoral Center.

PRAY FOR THE SICK:  Daniel Mays, Doug Ingram, Paula Zutes, Sandra Kirkland, Kimberly Wilkinson, Arlene Walsh.  Our Wounded Veterans.  If you have specific prayer requests, please leave us a phone message or send us an email.  We will get your intentions on the list.  We also remember all the sick and infirm at our daily Masses.

Social Hour after Sunday Mass – Coffee, juice and bagels or muffins are served up along with some fabulous conversation.  Everyone is invited.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM

Communal Rosary:  Mondays following 8:00 AM Mass.
