CONFESSIONS BY APPOINTMENT
CURRENT MASS PROTOCOLS CONTINUE: Per Diocesan policy in accordance with current public health recommendations, the people (except liturgical ministers serving in the sanctuary) must wear cloth face masks upon entering the church until they depart. Masks will remain on the face throughout the whole Mass except when receiving communion. Saint Christopher will offer Mass for up to 28 persons at each Mass, with seating at six-foot distances required. Groups of 4 or more worshippers are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes before Mass begins, to be seated per distancing protocols. Any Mass that you attend during the week will satisfy your Sunday obligation. As always, the greatest concern is for each person’s health and safety, thus it is up to each person to make the decision that is best for them and the community. Many people in Latin America and the Caribbean do not have access to Church programs and ministries because of a rising secular culture, difficult rural terrain, and a shortage of ministers. JANUARY 31 is the 5TH SUNDAY of the month. What does that mean? It is our special weekend to help those less fortunate in the greater Kanab area. We ask for monetary donations which will be added to our Poor Box account to be given to appropriate charities. There are many more people in need during the pandemic, so your generosity is greatly appreciated. Helping our Neighbors in need! Neighbors helping Neighbors!
Our next OPEN DOOR SATURDAY is February 6, 2021, from 10:00 AM-Noon. If you have friends or relatives that are interested in the Catholic faith, or are thinking of returning to the Church, please tell them about us and have them stop by. We would love to meet with them! OPEN DOOR is scheduled every first and third Saturday of the month.
