TWELFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Reflect on what it means for you to know that Jesus died for your salvation. He did not ask that you promise anything. He did not consider your faults and failures. He simply loved you as you are and gave his life for you. Now consider how you treat others. Does this awareness of how much Jesus accepted and loved you influence how you respond to others? Should it? What can you do to treat others more like Jesus treated you?

Give thanks to the Lord, his love is everlasting.

-PSALM 107:1

Saint Jude Prayer for Fathers:  Loving God, giver of all good gifts, you show us your love in the gift of our fathers. Bless them with your spirit of wisdom and give them the grace to set a loving example for us through their faith. St. Jude, you too led a life of selfless service and fruitful love.
