MASS PROTOCOLS AS OF OCTOBER 30, 2020:  Per Diocesan policy in accordance with current public health recommendations, the people (except liturgical ministers serving in the sanctuary) must wear cloth face masks upon entering the church until they depart. Masks will remain on the face throughout the whole Mass except when receiving communion. Saint Christopher will offer Mass for up to 28 persons at each Mass, with seating at six-foot distances required.  Any Mass that you attend during the week will satisfy your Sunday obligation. As always, the greatest concern is for each person’s health and safety, thus it is up to each person to make the decision that is best for them and the community. Please consult our website or call the parish office with any questions.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

THIS WEEKEND, we make our annual appeal for monetary donations to the Navajo Holiday Assistance efforts. The perennial poverty and lifestyle traditions that exist on the reservation have been severely exacerbated by the Covid 19 pandemic. Saint Christopher is joining local and statewide efforts to help alleviate their misery with gifts of food, sanitizing supplies and other materials. Our Parish Council and Finance Committee have decided to donate $1,000 for this year’s efforts. Along with what we collect in this special appeal, we will make up the difference to make up $1,000 with funds from our St. Vincent de Paul fund. Currently, we are only asking for monetary donations. If you have not been coming to Mass in person, please mail in your donation to the parish office. God bless you for your generosity to help those in such desperate need.

FINANCIAL REPORT FOR OCTOBER 24-25, 2020:  Offertory $800 /  Renovations & Improvements $55 /  Donations Mail $100  =  $955.

SEPTEMBER 2020:  Income $6,571  –  Expenses $6,905  =  – $334 Difference.  (Expenses include $1,550 for new lighting, materials, and labor in Vollmer Hall)

Our next OPEN DOOR SATURDAY is November 7, from 10:00 AM – Noon.  It is scheduled every first and third Saturday of the month. If you know someone who may be interested in coming back to the Catholic Church, or is simply interested in what we are about, please spread the word that we would be more than happy to speak with them.
