SAFE ENVIRONMENT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City is committed to protecting children and young people. If you are aware of abuse or have been abused by clerics, Church volunteers or Church workers, contact the Division of Child and Family Services at 1-855-323-3237. For pastoral assistance contact the Diocesan Pastoral Center at 1-801-328-8641.
NEXT SUNDAY, September 13, we will have a special collection for Diocesan Priests’ Retirement. Priests provide pastoral care throughout the Diocese of Salt Lake City well beyond the usual retirement age. These donations will help pay the monthly living expenses of retired priests, who no longer rely on parishes to support them after active ministry. The collection provides partial funding for the diocese to utilize in caring for and providing the necessary resources to our diocesan retired priests. Please use the special envelope in the bulletin to make your donation.
The parish office will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. In case of emergency, please contact Saint George Catholic Church at 435-673-2604.
